When I started working, I began from home for 3 to 4 months. With extensive experience in home workouts, I can provide insights on whether achieving a perfect body at home is possible and suggest exercises as well. First, let's address the question. It's not definitively achievable; let's say it's 50% possible and 50% not. Allow me to explain further.
The reason for the "no" is that over time, your body adapts to bodyweight exercises alone. Trust me, it's nearly impossible to attain a perfect body solely through push-ups and home workouts, despite claims made by some individuals who suggest they exclusively build a perfect chest, biceps, or upper body. This brings us to the 50% "yes" answer.
While it's true that you can't achieve a perfect body or significant muscle gains without weights, there are ways to incorporate weight training at home. For instance, you can use a bag and fill it with books, although it may be challenging to accurately measure its weight. Nonetheless, it will still provide additional resistance for muscle growth.
Now, let me share my favorite exercises for each muscle group in the upper body. I believe these exercises will be beneficial to you as well.
First don't forget to warm up with exercises like jumping jacks, squats, and some yoga movements.
Start with a target of 100 pushups, dividing them into sets of 20 repetitions each. It's important to note that your body can adapt to the same exercise routine, so consider using a weighted bag while performing pushups to increase the intensity. Additionally, there are various ways to target specific muscles with pushups. For example, wide pushups primarily engage the chest, diamond pushups target the triceps, and slightly shifting your hand or fingers towards the opposite side of your body can focus on the biceps.
